I went to an Anime Night last night hosted by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, so just thought I'd see if anyone else had seen the progammes they had shown.
Ok:

We saw:
The Magic User's Club
Dragon Half
Pet Shop of Horrors

And alos something else I cant remember the title of, but had an alien called Lum in it and one of the episodes was called 'it's raining oil on our planet'

Anyone else seen these or been to a similar event?

ohhhh......my friend got pet shop of horrors the other day!~!I havent seen it yet but im gonna go over her house and see it... i would just borrow it but i dont got a dvd player:( ah well.... thats why i go over there and watch so many wonderful anime movies:D

The program you couldn't remember is Urusei Yatsura, and it's my favourite anime of all time. Lum is an alien who... there's no point in explaining the plot. It's not worth it. But the series is great.
It's based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi, whom you might remember from such series as Ranma 1/2, Inu Yasha and Maison Ikkoku. Which I've probably spelt wrong.

You didn't spell it wrong rde you spelt it right. I'm a big fan of Ranma too and I just love Rumiko's work, it's excellent!

um...at the present moment in time...10$ but for the last month I was getting about 50$ a week for babysitting 2 hours a day....

Who doesnt :p Just get like a VCD version for it. Its quarter the price, it works on your pc AND DVD player.
