Enterprise actors at cons?

Hi all! This is my first post here. I just signed up yesterday and I'm just now getting around to posting. Thanks H2 for the link to here on the MacSlow list. *waves to H2* This is great to have a place to talk about Enterprise!

Anyway, my question. I read somewhere on the net (don't remember where) that both Dominic Keating and John Billingsly are already going to be doing ST cons. I was wondering if anyone know of a web site (or sites) with info about cons. I remember seeing a web site like this once, but I have no idea what the address is and stupid me, I didn't bookmark it.

I'd love to see any of the Enterprise actors at a con, especially Dominic Keating or Connor Trinneer. They're my favoirtes on the show. Any help anyone can give me on this would be most appreciated. Thanks!

as for your questions -- ummmm -- Neo or Dave or one of the other 'old timers' here at the ST section might have some better info --- i've just re-integrated myself into the world of Trek, so i'm a little behind ---

Not having been to a convention, maybe Stripe is the person to ask -- you'll be wanting American Conventions too.

I would think that they would be too busy to attend conventions right now though, until the summer. Also, there is going to be 26 episodes of 'Enterprise' this season -- two more than is usual for Star Trek or any other series, so they are not going to have a great deal of time.

Websites -- don't have any links, but they do exist. Try a few different search engines and see what comes up.

Found some info

I did as Dave suggested and searched on the internet. I found a web site for Creation Entertainment, and it looks like Dominic Keating is going to be doing several cons in the next several months and John Billingsley is doing one as well.

Here's the locations and dates. None of these are close enough for me to go to them, but I thought I'd post them here in case anyone else is interested in going.

San Jose, CA -- Nov. 10-11, 2001 (This con is called Strong Women of Scifi and they described Dominic Keating as the "token" male guest. lol)

San Antonio, TX -- Nov. 17-18, 2001 -- Both Dominic Keating and John Billingsley are going to be at this one.

Portland, OR -- Jan. 12-13, 2002

Sacramento, CA - Feb 9-10, 2002

There is a report at Trek Today about the San Jose Con 10/11 Nov. with Dominic Keating. He gave away some interesting info as he answered their questions, including if he thought that T'Pol was simply there to be "eye candy."
