YEP thats right campers THEY SCREWED US AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TV week dated for December 1st-7th.
First of all the review for Stargate the movie.
Not complimentry. In fact it is downright low, single minded, harsh rubbish that came from some IDIOTIC reviewer who OBVIOUSLY has a terrible vendetta against Science fiction. Here we go.
Ludicrous Sci-fi tale which finds discredited Eygptologist James Spader and gung-ho army colonel Kurt Russell hurtling through the universe to a desert planet ruled by Ra- aka Jaye Davidson from The Crying Game. Discovering that the pyramids were actually built by beings from another planet, the duo then face the task of returning to Earth before the Stargate is blown up by the explosives carried by army personnel when visiting distant planets. Roland Emmeric, who followed this up with Independence Day seems content to turn this into a gaudy special effects extravaganza which leaves no room for character or even half-hearted explanations to emerge. Campy fun at best, if watched in the right frame of mind.
David Stratton, TV Week, ** rating
Huh. Wateva. (The D#^*head.)
And then I flip eagerly to the Thursday program guide and.......
GASP!
WE ARE BACK TO SEASON ONE REPEATS! (Bloodlines) Which given I wouldn't be quite so upset about :BUT I CAN SEE THAT CHANNEL SEVEN ARE GONNA DO EXACTLY THE SAME AS LAST YEAR AGAIN!
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!!!!!!!!     :evil
