Spoilers for the US season 3 Roswell ep. premered on Nov. 27.

I can't get the reason for maria breaking up with Michael. all the soul searching scenes with billy messed me up. Plus her crptic comments at the end did me worse. the most i can make out in that she hasn't been herself for 3 years. I beleive we are always who we are. And og Course we can change.

I totally agree with you..... I am so disappointed in Maria! She totally just walked away from a 3 year long relationship with Michael with out offering him any valid or logical explanation. I mean I agree with her, and understand that she has kind of lost herself in him, but it's not as if that's Michael's fault. And I understand where she's coming from with the lyrics to the song she sang at the end of the show. But Michael didn't hear that song..... Michael didn't hear the conversation she had with Liz. She simply tells him that she "wants out" and "loves him soooo much, more than he'll ever know" and then walks away with out even cracking a tear. VERY disappointed. And Michael is totally in love with her.... he's just misguided. Now, granted this could be a good story line for the show..... like with Mikey trying to get her back, and facing the fact that he doesn't know how to treat a woman properly and realizing that he has been kind of a jerk to her lately. And it just might bring him and Max closer (like they were in the first season) because now Mikey will need all this emotional support that he's never had to deal with before.
