Episode 1.11 "Cold Front" Spoilers

"Archer and his Suliban Nemesis meet once again.

When the Enterprise comes incontact with an alien vessel transporting stargazers to obseve a spectacular stellar event, Archer invites them aboard the ship, not realizing that Silik, a Suliban enemy, is among them. Archer quickly realizes that Silik is involved in a nefarious time-traveling mission and must stop him before he can tamper with the course of history"

Interesting episode, raises the question of who is really the bad guys vs the good guys. Or are either side good in this temporal cold war. T'Pol's sceptisim fit right in with her personality.

We got to see more interactions between other crew members which was nice to see.

I am sure we will see more of this temporal cold war.

This episode was one of the better ones i have seen of late....

its brings some great questions about the cols war and who is the goodies...

I liked the character development, Mayweather in the Captain's chair, Sato egging him on, Reed being pompous. (It would have been more entertaining to have Archer or T'Pol come in, and see him sitting in the chair.) Also the duff film that was screened the previous evening. "Those were two hours of my life I'd rather have back." (Reed, to Mayweather and Sato, regarding 'Attack of the Killer Androids.')

I also thought that it was the most action packed episode since 'Broken Bow'. In fact I was really enjoying it... until the 'open the shuttlepod Bay doors' bit... Archer hanging in a vacuum, but still breathing and holding on to the walkway. (Oh! He did get a sore throat, and go straight to bed, shouldn't he have a medical?) And Silik can fall in space, even though there isn't any gravity, and land directly into his own ship! I just hate it when that happens!

Is Archer seriously going to write that report? I would just shelve it! No one will believe him, they'' think that he has been at those alien hallucinogens again!

Dear Starfleet, crewman Daniels told me that a Suliban operative named Silik had boarded the Enterprise disguised as one of the peaceful guests to witness a nearby cosmic event. Daniels has been a part of the crew all along, but he has apparently never been just an ordinary crew member; he was an operative from roughly 900 years in the future assigned to stop timeline manipulation in the 22nd century. Silik is the Suliban I fought to rescue Klaang the Klingon, and he works for a mysterious entity from the future (but from earlier than Daniels' time frame) who employs the Suliban to manipulate the timeline by proxy. Silik actually saved Enterprise from destruction yesterday, then he killed Daniels, jumped out into space and was rescued by an unseen Suliban ship, but we still think he is the baddie because he looks more alien.

PS. T'Pol, the Vulcan who never lies, will back me up on this. Vulcan's say Time Travel is impossible, but it is honestly, we saw it!

Dear Archer, please return to Earth immediately for a medical and psychiatric checkup. And remember to bring both sets of keys back!

And everyone can speak to everyone in English again! "Sorry, Hoshi, you've been reassigned, here is your mini-skirt, now can you say 'Open hailing frequencies!'"?

Have u been taking them pills again ??????

I for one want to see more about the temporal war

Brannon Braga has been quoted as saying that he has this Tempoal Cold War storyline all mapped out, to continue in an arc throughout the whole series. So, when we get the second 'Cold War' episode, we find that it isn't written by him or Rick Berman at all, now does that make sense to you?

While working on the 'Yes Sir!' bit. Should that be 'Aye Sir!' this being navy-ish?

When will Archer let Reed do his job?

At least he isn't likely to chat about the weather tomorow with his enemy. Bang- Next Silly-chap please.

At least Porthos growled at the right time.

Why do all the ships that are not Klingon look the same, even when they are from different races?
Surely they could do a little work on their models with a washing up bottle to make them different?
