VARIETY reports X-FILES star Gillian Anderson has optioned
the Elizabeth Rosner novel SPEED OF LIGHT with plans to direct.
The book centers on an obsessive-compulsive young man
who lives with his sister in Berkeley, who is brought
out of his reclusive shell by a Latina housekeeper.

Sounds interesting. Gillian obviously wants a change of scenery if she has decided to direct instead of act.
