Howdy,
Just a few queries- maybe someone else thought of these, but maybe someone can add some new ones:

Does Daniel earn any money? The military must pay him SOMETHING, right?

Also, I was watching last weeks ep on Showtime and noticed Jack driving a full size Ford pickup truck- didn't he used to have a Buick Grand National? I'd have kept the Buick!

daniel would get paid as a civilian consultant to the stargate program, so yeah he'd get paid

as to jack's car, the truck in ascension and later desp meas is the first time we've seen him driving his car. the one he drove in touchstone was likely an official military vehicle.
it's funny to note though that his f-250 is one of the bigger trucks you can get sort of a f-350 or a dualie (one with double the tires on the back)
really would not have wanted to fill that gas tank last year when it was $3 a gallon
