The 9th Chevron

Okay heres a new Topic , Does anyone here know what the 9th Chevron on the stargate is for ? i know in the 5th race episode a 8th chevron was used kinda like a area code for Jack to get to the asgard homeworld and that has been the only time it was used as such , what do you think it could be used for ? , i personaly think it could be used for time travel etc
