"No news on the movie. We're concentrating on S6 right now. In all probability, the movie will fall in between the show's sixth season and the spin-off."

Was there any thought given to recasting the character of Daniel Jackson? "Absolutely not. Daniel Jackson was Michael's character. The "new guy" will be very different."
