Ho Ho Ho from SG-1 Art Dept. We have all been on hiatus since November and man... I can't wait to get back home to SG-AD.
AKA the Stargate art department. It has been one helluva difficult winter around here. Not to brag but the entire production crew at SG-1 is considered top notch and we usually have no problems finding work in between seasons. This year was however, very different, I myself along with several other SG-1 staff were recruited to work on the new Battlestar Galactica pilot, which we were honored to be asked to work on.
To make a very long story very short, the show collapsed because the pilot's director Brian Singer gaot tired of waiting for script approvals and left to go work on XMen 2.
Last I heard, Halley Barrey was contracted to do the new James Bond at the same time as XMen 2, so production may be pushed way back.
In light of the state of the world it is petty of any of us to complain about a few weeks of unemployment.
We are scheduled to gear-up for season six ( God That Has A Nice Ring To It ) in late January, I cannot wait to get back to work with my adopted family!
Wishing You All The Very Best Of Health, Heart And Happiness,
For 2002 And Beyond...Boydo SG1 Art Department
