These 'smallfilms' produced animations were part of my childhood, but are still amazingly popular today.

Do you remember 'Ivor the Engine' with Jones the steam, and a dragon that they kept warm inside the locomotive?
My favourite was probably 'Nogin the Nog' and the tales of the northmen. There were two series of that and I have them on video.

Some people think that they were the inspiration for the Stargate programme:
