Other than "Insurrection", had the Captain's Yacht ever been mentioned on TNG? We all know Enterprise-D had a yacht, but I do not recall it ever having been mentioned in the series. Any help?

Wasn't that the Enterprise-E in 'Insurrection'? It doesn't alter the just of your question. I'm not sure about that, I'll try and find out. It is in the "Next Generation Technical Manual" for the Enterprise D.

Just trying to keep u all on your toes

Well, the Enterprise D was destroyed in 'Generations'. As a Galaxy class ship it has a captains yacht docking berth in the Saucer section deck 16.

The Enterprise E was a Sovereign class ship, but I don't know whether it had a yacht or a docking berth for one.

Didn't Picard fly down to the planet in the Captains Yacht in 'Insurrection'... I cant remember the exact scene but it was just after he removed his Captains pins from his uniform.

The Captains yacht was something I always wanted to see, I just can't understand why they never used it, other than cost of course. But it's a rather moot point now, as the Galaxy class of ship is pretty much history, as far as Star Trek is concerned.
