I never get around to turning on my computer at home & my internet connection sucks. Speaking of computers, I hooked mine up yesterday (I just mioved again) I aparently put the speeker plug into the scanner instead of the scanner plug. There was a burning smell, then smoke then a nick big pop as my poor scanner got fried from getting too much juice. I killed my scanner

Oh I feel for you girl! It is so horrible not to have A scanner. I hope you can get it fixed...

well, I'm praying my warranty hasn't run out & if it has I'm fairly confident from the little flames & all that it'll be cheeper to get a new one. I'll just miss mine. They probably won't have the same model anymore, & my scanner & it's program have been very good to me. I over used it as it is (you can tell by how many pics I have on my webshots page). Poor little scanner. As for defacing. All depends on if I have the time. my travel time to & from work has increased & I don't know what the situation with computers there will be, i.e. if they let you use them for personal use at lunch. What will really suck is I've got all of Stargate Season 5 on this computer here at my soon to be former workplace. Anyhoo, I'll try, for you guys of course. Poor scanner, I can still smell the burning smell ...anyone need an expensive paper weight?
