What makes you think about Jack

I recently discovered that about anything could make me think of Jack/MacGyver/RDA. What I mean is you're calmly at home enjoying the moment and for once NOT thinking about the man of your dreams. then, you see/hear/read something and a nice image of Jack pops up in your mind. Know what I mean??? This happens far too much to me, espacially when I'm in vacation so, have nothing to do.

Sometimes, it can get really annoying... like when you're in a love blues...

so let me share one of these moments with you. This happened to me last week. I was reading the sport section of the newspaper like I do every morning. then I saw a picture of a figure skater. my mind immediatly went into action : figure skater= Katarina Witt=ex girlfriend of RDA... great.

then, I check the hockey results ( I do that every morning... and NOT because RDA loves hockey.) great Minnesota lost MINNESOTA. then, Vancouver won. Damn!!! Stargate is filmed back there! will I finish this breakfast without thinking one more time about HIM?????????????????

Mac:
Everything makes me think of him.
I could be walking down the street
thinking about a bad day at work,
and then a Jeep goes by and right
away I think of Jack/RDA/Macgyver,
becaus he drove one in Macgyver.
I work in the Library a place where
where Macgyver would feel at home with,
and Jack would probley be looking at the Magazines.
Or see a dog, Jello, or Fruit loops.
Yes. I got it bad for the man!!
but, can you blame me? Do I need Help?

It's funny that you should make this thread up. Today I took a break from fic writing and walked down to the food store and now I notice that there's a brand of frozen pizza called Jack's. Admittedly I had the man on my mind because I was writing but it was one of them "down girl" moments...

I, too, really got it bad! Jello and Fruit Loops always make me think of him. When I hear Air Force I immediatly pay attention... The Jeep too has an effect on me... and the man living in the house in front of mine has one... My sister bought me a shirt for Christmas, it's written O'neill on the front!!!! She's beginning to know me better!!!:rolly2:

One morning at school, I had a chemistry lab. the teacher was doing a demonstration and I was bored and tired ( not yet awake.. 8h00 in the morning...) so she began the demo. She had a glass jar with Sodium metal in it and an other glass jar full of water. THat alone got my attention. My mind was back in the pilot episode of Macgyver! then, she asked us was gaz would be created if she put a tiny piece of Sodium in the water. Nobody in the class knew. exept me!!! Thank you MAcGyver!!! so I reased my hand and said " Hydrogen" everybody was looking at me and I felt hot ( thinking of nac does that!!!) my friend next to me asked :" How the hell did you know that????". I flashed her a silly grin and said:" the wonders of MaGyver" she sighed and rolled her eyes, tired of my Mac babbling!!!! for the rest of the class, I couldn't concentrate, too buzy day-dreaming about a certain man...:rolly2:

Mac:
Today when I was watching he Rose Parade.
At leaset two of the flots maybe think of our
favorite guy. There was one with a man fishing
in a big boat, and another with a boy playing
with his two dogs in a park, and the was also
one with some big brothers on it. And as you
know in the Macgyver pilot at the beginning
he was playing a big brother!!
There were others ones that maybe think
of him, and then I was wonding if he was
watching the Parade with his little girl!!!
And You name makes me think of him too,
that Y i like calling u Mac!!
I hope that you don't mind!!

Last night I went to a restaurant for the New Year. There was an old man sitting near us and he couldn't stop lookingat me... Then I found out he looked just like Nicholas Baillard, Dr. Jackson's grand-father. Great, Stargate again. And when you say Stargate, you mean Jack... the thought of the handsome Colonel cut my appetit... Great, another expensive dinner wasted... I hope my dad ( who paid the restaurant bill...) doesn't find out why I didn't eat all...

And no, I don't mind anybody calling me mac!!!!

well i have to say....though i am undoubtably obssesed i haven't quite gotten up to that level of obssesion yet...........................:blush: :blush: i lie..i AM completely and utterly obssesed i can't seem to look anywhere without thinking about him!!! oh well the delusion was nice for a little while at least!:rolly2:

hey! I'm so obsessed ( or maybe it's crazy... that line is thin!!!)
When I close my eyes and I concentrate a little, I can actually "feel" him around me... That a small moment of comfort I get when I need it!

I tryed a little experience last week. I wanted to know if my father would like MAcGyver. So, I but my only tape in the video and set myself for an afternoon of Mac. I knew my father was gonna come in the basement sooner or later... He eventally showed up just at the right moment, when MAc was doing one of his MacGyvisms... the thing is my father is an ingeneer and he loves to build things ( he has a small shop and he builds furniture...) so, I thought it would catch his eye. he looked at the TV and observed what Mac was doing. Then, he stayed there for the remaining of the episode! Better, when he saw that an other episode was beginning, he sat down with me!!!!! My father actually likes MacGyver!! he even talked about it with my mother!

I think here is my chance to finallyget that Satellit TV!!!!!

Actually yes, my father uses duck tape a lot!!! And everytime I see him using some I get a big stupid grin on my face and he wonders why!!!!!

Weird, this morning a pictue of Mac poped in my mind while I was peeling an orange... I have no idea why my mind made the link... Maybe I'm going crazy... that must be it...

Sometimes I feel alittle crazy when thinking about
our boy. I do it so much lately, I wonder if it I'm okay.
But knowing that I'm not the only one in the world
that thinks of him as much as I do makes me feel
alittle better.
So when you start to feel alittle crazie. Just remember

Something interesting happened to me this weekend... Actually, I find it amazing...

My father actually mafde the connection between MacGyver ( c.f. previous post about my little experience...) and Jack!!!
He came by the TV and there was a close up of Jack. He said to me: " he looks just like that Magever guy"... ( Note the special spelling of MacGyver... my father couldn't pronounce the name correctly!) I answered, with a big smile, :" that's because it's the same guy, only 10 years older!!"

Today I was watching
Castaway with Tom Hanks.
Good movie.
He did alot of things in that movie
that made me think of Macgyver.
Like making a sail out of a larger
plastice thing, using video tape
to tie the logs together to make
a raff, and at the end of the movie
Hellen Hunt gave him his car, which
was a Jeep, and on the keyring was a
red knife like the one Mac uses all the Time.
I went to the mall Yesterday to look for a calmder
for my landladie, and all they had left was dog ones.
Yeah RDA was on my mind agained.
But I like it that way.

Believe me, I know the feeling!!! When every single thing has the potential of making you think about RDA!!! Sometimes, it's just something my relatives say and while I'm pretending I'm listening to them, my mind is set on RDA and I can't help but smile! They ask me why I'm smiling and I can't admit I wasn't paying attention... :rolly2:

there is that publicity on radio that always makes me think about Mac. It's a stupid pub, as always, to try and sell cars... BUT the song playing in the background sounds suspeciously like the MAcGYver theme... And I must ear that publicity 4 time a day, and always can't help a grin....

I needed a place like that so I created one!!! Nobody around me seems to understand how I feel about the guy. They think it's some stupid 12-years old girl crush on a star... I'M 18 and believe me, it has nothing to do about a stupid crush. This is serious... but only in one way... and one way relations are unhealty for the mental...I think having a place to express yourself is helping not to become crazy. Of all of my friends and relatives, only one knows how I really feel and understands because she's living the same kind of love situation, only not as strong as I do...

But coming on the forum everyday and share feeling and emotions really helps. Thank you for listening and sharing!!! :rolly2: :rolly2:
