Don't have to be bored of the rings to enjoy bored of the ring....It's a spoof, a lampoon! It's very funny.

It may be out of edition now...my ex had loaned the book to me in 1978. He got it quite some time before that even...may 1970...dont' know..but how long? It's just one paperback book...I don't know how many pages.

I haven't heard about bored of the rings, but it sounds interesting.

"Gee, I dunno. Why do hobbits taste so damn good?" and "I don't know, why do you and Sam hug so much? If I didn't know better, I'd say that ring meant you're engaged." were the two BEST entries.

But no, they had to go and quote the book (somewhat, the sentence structure is the same)

A lot of the time the funniest lines aren't the one they choose but they're still pretty funny anyway.
