just wondering if anyone has heard the latest on when we may get Season 2 on DVD in Canada & the States? Last thing I remember reading on this thread was that it would come out in the fall 2001...well, Fall's long gone & so is 2001.

oh & my advice...If you do get a DVD player get the one that can play both regions so you can get all the Stargate seasons now. I didn't know at the time that there were 2 different regions. One would have thought they'd make a universal DVD like the CD...but Nooooooooooooo, that would be to logical!

Hold on just a little longer, SG-1 fans: the show's second season won't be available on DVD in North America until September. MGM made the announcement in the new January issue of their online sci-fi newsletter.
There's no official word yet on whether the second season will be sold on individual discs, in a boxed set, or both -- though the boxed set is a safe guess. (To date, only the first two of Season One's five discs have been released individually.)
Previous rumors placed the release date in the first half of the year. The popular Season One boxed set was released back in May, 2001.

there's a way to chip you DVD to be all region. I don't know the site. You know it's also difficult to capture DVD off a player on a computer? That flusters me greatly. I think there's more goin on than just regions.
