joe came into chat again sat night and here are the hilights as posted on the spoliergate list. missed him again dog gone it :)

Hello,

Last night, Joe Mallozzi, dropped by and chatted for a while in sg1fans. I
will try and remember what he had to say.....

*He and his partner are now working on script 3 of season 6.

*He said season 6 has not been completely mapped out yet, but, they do have a
general idea what's going to happen.

*Season 6 will be sg1's last season. (heavy sigh)

*The spin-off is planned for after SG1. A movie for SG1 is still in the
works. If for some reason there will not be a movie. They will be prepared
to not leave us hanging to the fate of SG1.

*He was not sure if any stars from SG1 stars will be in the spin-off. He
thinks they all may want to pursue other things. But, a support character
from SG1 will be in the spin-off. No, he didn't name the character.

*At least, ONE Season 6 episode has been planned to include Michael Shanks.

*And the writers are going to try and tie up as many loose ends/story lines
they can. 'Squeeze' as much as possible into each episode.

*He also said he did a question and answer for debbie_g and the sg1hc.

If I can recall anything else. I will pass it on.

Thanks again Sky for taking the time to post these things.

Missed it again huh? Shucks......bad luck you're having there. These little snippets that get dropped in chats that are only attended by a few people are very difficult to catch. I think you might have to be online 24 hours a day in order to be privy to them.

I don't have that kind of time in my life..... do you? Does anyone?

I think that this guy gets off on these little 'interactions' with fans and spends his time yanking everybody's chains. After all, when have the writers of any show received such amazing 'fame' just because they are associated with the show?

The sad truth is that the fans are so desperate for some kind of real interaction from the actors and powers that be, that they will take anything at all in lieu. And that includes a writer who comes online, occasionally and when it suits his purpose, and graciously drops snippets from on high.

What exactly in this list that Lansbury posted is extra to what has already been said before? In reality, it appears he talked a lot without saying anything at all. Read the list again. I would be fascinated to see what, if anything, is new there.

Last writer combo that AOL chat members of the AOL Xfiles room knew and loved was Morgan and Wong. They had a good ride while it lasted on XFiles. Maybe they got to dropping too many hints to the fans.
