is he just worthless, or what??? Seemed to me, the only thing he contributed to the fight against Buu and company was: :eek7: and assorted gasps, exclamations, and various looks of despair.

Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder how he got his job??

First, let me start by pointing that he is by far the most powerful God in the universe. His power dworfs every other "Ki" that we ever see.

Now then, you may not think it, but Kaioshin(the real name of "Supreme Ki")is a real heavy hitter. He states as they fly "Each Kaioshin is powerful enough to kill the one you call Freezer with a single blast".

You may recall that and say "Freezer? So what? Goku of Vegeta could kill him with a flick of their finger! He's a wimp!".

What you have to remember is that the Z senshi are literally freaks of nature when it comes to their power. In the grand scheme of things, Freezer ranks right up there with Gohan & Goku & Vegeta & Cell (so on) as the strongest people in the universe. As a matter of fact, before the wole Namek thing happened, Freezer was the most powerful non-God being in the DB/Z universe.

So the fact that Kaioshin can kill Freezer with a single blast says a hell of a lot about his power, and shows that Kaioshin is freaking strong.

...so if Kaioshin's so strong, why is he scared of Buu? Because back when Bibidi first created Buu, all 4 Kaioshins gathered together to stop him. Buu killed 2, and absorbed 1. While this was going on, the final one used magic to imprision Buu.

Buu was able to take out three of the most powerful Gods in the universe. Now there is only one left, and the creature that did all that is about to be relieced again.

Yes he freaks out, because he knows Buu can kill him easily. To his knowledge, no one else alive has a better chance against Buu than he does(he had no idea what kind of power the Saya-jins had).

So yes, Kaioshin is powerful, but unlike other characters, he recognizes his limits.

Yes, Kaioshin is afraid of Buu, but he'd be a fool not to be.

What gets me about him is the fact that he took so damn long to start doing anything at all once Buu was released. He spent most of the time gasping and such when he could have been doing something much earlier, instead of watching the rest get the **** beat out of them.

I'm not debating his power, but it just seemed that he actually sped up the process of Buu being released instead of preventing it. Wasn't it he that brought Vegeta and Goku to the general area to begin with. I just expected that such a supreme being would be more on top of everything and at least control the situation better.

Did you not expect more from him before he finally acted?

Kaioshin wasn't on top of his game, I'll give you that. However it is very understandable. Recall that there used to be 4 Kaioshins, and thanks to Buu 3 were taken out. So now there was one Kaioshin left to watch over the universe...a job that needed 4 like him to do correctly. Thus, he misses a lot of stuff.

Because of this, he was ignorant of the power of the Z senshi.

Also, Kaioshin acted smartly by bringing the earth warriors with him to face Babidi. Kaioshin knew from experience that he had no chance alone, if Buu was relieced, so he gathered the strongest people he could find and brought them with him.

Not all of the Majins were stronger than Kaioshin. Yamu and Spopavich(the two humans that were at teh tourniment) didn't scare Kaioshin one bit.

yeah but Yamu and spopavich werent really that strong.In normal human terms they were extremely strong...but they were also stupid!

Ah, my mistake.

...anyway, I personally don't like the way that characters like Kaioshin are tossed aside and labeled as useless just because they're weaker than the Saya-jins.

Kaioshin is stronger than Freezer, and though that may not seem like much now, Freezer is freaking powerful. As I said in an earlier reply, Freezer was the strongest being in the entire universe and Kaioshin can whipe him out with a single blast.

Even the humans...by the end, Kuririn and Tenshinhan easily rank at least just above the level of Captian Gynu...and he was the strongest warrior in the universe under Freezer!

These people may not be at SSJ power, but they sure as hell should never be taken lightly...especially since there are only a hand full of people in the entire universe who can actually take them out.

i know!its so stupid that they just ignore these characters!grrr. Even if the Sayjin is weaker then the rest it gets ingnored compared to the others!like Vegeta got ignored alot in the cell saga b/c all the rest of the sayjins where stronger than him

And the only reason Vegeta ever bounced back from being ignored is that he's a Saya-jin.

Even when the Saya-jin is weaker than the humans, the Saya-jin still has more of an urge to fight...and that's what makes them jump into the fight head first anyway. Nothing more.

yeah...if the others were designed to have as much drive to fight they wouldnt have gotten tossed away.But Most of the non-sayjins are pretty much gone.I think the only reason Kurrin lasted so long is b/c he was in DB almost right from the begining... but then again Yamcha was it it b4 kurrin.....so i dunno y kurrins still there.but back to the point......they made most of the other characters give up fighting
