rda in macguyver

hey peeps

just wondering how someone who has never seen an episode of macguyver in her life (I KNOW! How did that happen?) might catch it now. I had a whole bunch of cable channels while I was in the UK up until december - and I watched way too much of them while I was doing my degree - but I never saw any macguyver at all.

I am now living in Canada (Vancouver!) and although we don't have that many channels (35 I think) in my house, I was hoping someone could give me a suggestion on where I can find some more mr anderson.... :blush:


sorry if this is the wrong forum - i wasn't sure which one to go for, I reckoned the die-hard rda'ers would be in here;)
 
Sorry I can't help you..living in the UK and never having seen a episode of Macguyver either I wouldn't know..but Im sure some one around here will..

If not try posting in the Canada part of this forum...they might know!

Hey!!!

I have the same problem!!! I live in Québec and the cable channels don't present MAc... I think it's not even presented in Canada. The only way to get it is the get Satellite TV ( like Bell expressvue or Starchoice...) Macgyver is presented in Chicago on a channel called WGN and the only way to get it is with Satellite...

And I'M supposed to have it this year, so said my father... so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

i useed to watch it when i was little!
i think i was about 7 or 8......it ROKCED! that man could do anything

in one epi a plane was taking off with the bad guys and he erm..........hung ont the wing....till it landed! lol
 
I really do want to catch episodes. I was about twelve or so when it started and my family life was in tourmoil. I don't recall very much more than 45 seconds of two episodes that aired late in the run. I think I tried to catch it every week before Monday Night Football but all that sticks is some stunt with acid and chocolate. And then some snippet in a temple; this part had to be one of the final movies.

This is why i must see this program! I mean it just sound hilarious. My friends don't understand how I have never seen it - especially seeing as I can usually remember loads of old telly that they have never heard of. Hmmmm maybe I spent most of my childhood sitting in front of the tv poltergeist-style... :evil:

I think it's now presented around 11 am everyday... Well, that's what it says on zap2it TV listings website....

I'm that way too. One thing to remember is to cut some slack for the plots. We're talking 80's TV and I just can't help thinking that if I do get back to seeing this I'm going to laugh at it like I laugh at A-Team, Areowolf, and NightRider. I watch DVDs of Space 1999 from the early 70's and just have fun laughing at the helpless women on there!

TV series storylines are a tad more sophisticated now.
 
I had finally found it a few weeks ago on WGN at 11 am, and had taped a couple; and then apparently they stopped showing at that time. I did a search on my cable guide at that time, but it wasn't listed then.

OK, I just did another search, and it comes on at midnight Sun/Monday, and then at 10 am Central on weekdays on WGN. Guess they took it off for a week or so...<shrug>

Well, I happen to be the computer genius of the house... and not a good one of that... So I get no help from an older brother!!! I'm the older sister helping!
