Sgt Siler - leaving/left?

Just noticed that on www.imdb.com Dan Shea is showing up as a cast member for SG1 1997-2001. As far as I know they only put dates after cast members names if they have since left the series, or began sometime after the first season. This would imply that Siler is leaving us with the impending 6th season.

I was just wondering if anyone knows the skinny on this situation? If they are killing him off then i will be mightily annoyed - well not really, but they seemed to have killed off half of the interesting part-timers, I guess it's time to start on the bit-players.....



Then again maybe he is off to bigger and better things?

As far as I know Dan Shea is still with the show. He is RDA's stunt double and a stunt coordinator... He appears occasionally.... but season 6 hasn't yet began filming (they start in February)... so until the show starts...

Often the years that a person appears is submitted by fans if you were looking in imdb. I know the show was scheduled for 5 years and they are now going to start the 6th year of filming.... so...

He surely is fun to watch for tho....!
