Okay a quick episode list for series 2, feel free to discuss any of the episodes, but make sure you say which episode well in advanced just in case someone hasn't seen it.
If you have not seen any/much of series one, be warned. There will be spoilers below.
2.01: Witch Trial
The one year anniversary of the Halliwell's powers being released is here and the girls are trying to settle into normal lives. Instead, the Book of Shadows is stolen by a powerful demon named Abraxas who is undoing all the spells they've cast and therefore bringing back vanquished foes. Phoebe realizes that if he undoes the spell she cast to release their powers, they could be normal people again. Prue is tempted to let Abraxas undo the spell because she still feels guilty for Andy's death, but her sisters try to convince her otherwise. They defeat Abraxas and decide that although a witch's life is tough, it's worth it. Piper trys to get a loan to open a nightclub, but the loan is denied and Prue and Phoebe surprise her with a check for the same amount of the loan.
2.02: Morality Bites
Phoebe is watching TV and gets a premonition of herself being burned at the stake. The girls turn to the Book of Shadows to help them and find the book open to a spell to travel into the future. They do and find themselves in the bodies of their future selves.Piper vows to let Leo give up his wings and they all realize what they need to do to make sure their future lives are as happy as they hope they'll be.
2.03: The Painted World
A woman brings Prue a painting at the auction house that she wants to sell. Later, Prue notices a man inside the painting and when she trys to help him, she gets caught in the painting too. Phoebe performs a smartness spell to help her get a job so that she can pay for the damage she did to Prue's car. Piper names her club P3 and gets it up to code with the help of her next-door-neighbor Dan.
2.04: The Devils' Music
P3 isn't doing so well, so Prue and Phoebe try to get a second loan without Piper knowing. Piper jumps at the chance to get the group Dishwalla to sing one night, but it turns out that the manager of Dishwalla made a pact with a demon.
2.05: She's a Man, Baby a Man!
Phoebe has odd dreams where she kills her lovers. She fears that she might be a Succubus. The sisters use a fire spell to kill the Succubus, with Piper nearby to freeze time if Phoebe is right and she is one. Phoebe is wrong, but the spell turns Prue into a man. Phoebe finds out that she is psychically linked to the Succubus, which expalins the dreams. Inspector Morris, Andy's old partner, asks Prue for help in dealing with cases where four men have died. Prue uses her man-body to lure the Succubus to her by creating a dating tape where all the men have died. Piper finds Da'sn tape and discovers that he "goes for the girl next door". The girls find out who the Succubus is and destroy her.
2.06: That Old Black Magic
A 200 year old witch named Tiwatha who kills good witches is released. Leo lets the girls know that the only way to defeat her is to use the Chosen One, a guy named Kyle. He must use her wand against her. When they first confront Kyle, he thinks that they're crazy, but when he sees them use their powers Kyle believes them and agrees to help them. Prue has problems when an internet auction site wants to buy the wand. Piper trys to decide between Leo and Dan.
2.07: They're Everywhere
Eric is visiting his Dad, who, it turns out, has been visited by the Collectors who suck the information out of people's brains to gain information. They want information about the Akashic Records, which are supposed to contain info about the past, present, and the future. During all this, Prue and Piper cast a mind-reading spell to find out if Dan and Jeff (Prue's interest from work) are warlocks (they aren't).
2.08: P3 H2O
Prue visits the lake where her mother died fighting a water demon and witnesses a man being drowned. A man tells her to leave. Later, the sisters (who of course go back to the lake) find out that the man is Sam, their Mom's whitelighter. Prue faces the demon and kills him. Then, Piper discovers love letters from Sam to her mother. It seems that Leo and Piper were not the only ones to break the rules.
2.09: Ms. Hellfire
It's Friday the 13 again. Prue discovers that her powers have grown and that she can now astral project. Shots comes through the window and Prue kills the woman who fired it. They discover that the woman is a hitwoman out to kill them. They call Darryl and are forced to tell him about their powers. They find out that Barabras, a demon, hired Ms. Hellfire to kill 13 women so that he could stay alive. Piper learns that she can freeze and unfreeze people at different times while they are confronting Barabras.
2.10: Heartbreak City
Drazi, a demon, takes Cupid's ring which is the way Cupid makes people fall in love. Cupid comes to The Charmed Ones for help getting it back and tells Phoebe why she never has a steady boyfriend. Drazi is abusing the use of Cupid's ring and is going around breaking up all the couples that Cupid just got together. The four of them catch up to Drazi and throw a potion on him and it looks like he dies, but since Cupid's ring is so powerful, it protects him. Drazi succeeds in breaking up Piper and Dan and Prue and Jeff. But Cupid and Phoebe bring them back together after Drazi is vanquished.
2.11: Reckless Abandon
While visiting the police station, Phoebe sees a baby that won't stop crying. She finds out that the baby has no home and offers to take him in. Phoebe has a vision of the baby being carried off by a ghost. The sisters take care of the baby and discover that his name is Matthew and that the ghost is trying to get revenge his death by killing all the males in the family. The ghost was killed at the hands of his lover. The sisters try to protect the baby and finally set the ghost on to the afterlife.
2.12: Awakened
When Phoebe tells Piper that she has enrolled in college, Piper gets really excited and Phoebe notices that she doesn't look so great. Piper faints and Phoebe and Prue bring her to the hospital, but she slips into a coma. They ask Leo for help, but he can't do anything or he'll get his wings clipped. When the sisters hear that Piper is worsening, they decide to use their powers to revive her (and break the rules). When they do, the disease spreads to people all around town, so they undo the spell and Piper falls back into a coma. Dan is really worried and the doctors pronouce Piper dead, but Leo comes and saves her! The first thing Piper says is, "Leo". Leo gets his wings clipped, but vows to fight Dan for Piper. Prue also quits her job.
2.13: Animal Pragmatism
Three girls are left without dates for Valentine's day and decide to use a spell in a love book to morph three animals into humans for 24 hours. The animal/men decide that they don't want to change back to animals and seek the help of Phoebe to stay as humans for longer. The men keep their dangerous animal instincts and one of the girls is seriously hurt when she opposes turning them into humans forever. The guys follow Phoebe to P3 and Phoebe casts a spell to turn them into animals, but unfortunately, the spell works on the whole club. The girls use the help of Darryl to capture the animals and revive the hurt girls. Piper trys to buy a card for Leo without Dan knowing, but he finds the card and mistakes that it's for him (it's a friend card). Leo gives Piper a card that says that he won't give up and he'll fight for her. Leo gets a job at the club to support his mortal life.
2.14: Pardon My Past
Phoebe is attacked by one of her past live's where she was evil and was with a demon who was trying to steal her cousin's (Prue and Piper) powers. She travels into the 20s and discovers that only an amulet can keep her alive, so she switches lives with Past Phoebe and trys to get the locket. However, a girl who Phoebe was talking to from her past, is really the demon who has the amulet and was trying to get Past Phoebe to be warped to the present by Phoebe. Prue and Piper kill the demon and grab the amulet. Phoebe switches back and is saved. Piper finds out that in the 20s, she was married to Dan, but Leo was her lover.
2.15: Give Me A Sign
Bane, who Prue helped put in jail after he tried to kill her and her sisters, escapes from jail. He kidnaps Prue, hoping that her powers will protect him from a demon named Litvack who is trying to kill him. Prue doesn't help Bane at first, but when he protects her from Litvack, she decides he's worth helping and ends up sleeping with him. She astral projects to her sisters to tell them not to look for her because it's a trap. Phoebe decides to help Piper choose between Leo and Dan by casting a love spell to lead her to the one she loves. They get all kinds of signs and figure out that they are signs to lead them to Prue (Piper loves Prue). They walk in on a naked Bane (with a sheet) and Prue. Litvack contacts Bane and tells him to bring the Charmed Ones to the cemetery to spare him his life in exchange for their powers. The sisters and Bane work out a plan, but it goes hopelessly wrong when Litvack doesn't freeze. They kill him anyway and Piper, without the help of Phoebe's spell, finds out who her heart belongs to.
2.16: Murphy's Luck
Piper struggles with telling Dan about her and Leo and Prue gets a job at a magazine to do a story on a woman named Maggie Murphy. She drives to Maggie's house and finds her on the roof about to jump off and commit suicide. Prue astral projects to the roof and saves Maggie's life. A darklighter casts a spell on Prue to make her luck bad. She gets fired when her pictures are awful and she get's into a carcrash. Leo and Piper find out that the darklighter is trying to kill good people by making them jump off buildings. Phoebe has a premonition of Prue standing on a bridge looking upset. The story reveals that eight years ago, Prue got into a bad car crash and Phoebe was almost killed. The girls have Maggie point at a map to tell them where Prue is and when they get there, Prue and the darklighter are on the bridge with the darklighter telling Prue to jump. Piper and Phoebe yell up to her and Prue turns around and throws the darklighter. Back at the Halliwell's, Leo is upset that he can't help and yells and yells until he gets his wings back. He orbs to the bridge and tackles the darklighter and they orb out. Prue's pictures are published and Piper and Leo decide that even though Leo has his wings, they can make their relationship work.
2.17: How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans
The sisters' Aunt Gail makes a pact with the demon Cryto (the demon of vanity) to restore her and her three friend's youth in exchange for the Charmed One's powers. Gail calls the girls and tells them she has "demon" problems. She goes to their house and steals a spell from the Book of Shadows that says how to separate a witch from her powers. The sister's visit Aunt Gail's and their powers are stolen from them unknowingly. When they discover that their powers are missing, Piper is reluctant to get them back. Cryto kills Gail's friends and tells her that he needs more souls. When the girls arrive at the scene, they slow down Cryto's stealing souls and he kills Gail. The girls force Cryto to astral project and give him the potion to get back their powers. Piper breaks up with Dan at the very end.
2.18: Chick Flick
Phoebe is attacked by a mysterious man who runs out of the house. The sisters run after him and follow him to a movie theater where Phoebe says a spell to vanquish him and he disappears (into the movie, but they don't know that). Prue gets an assignment to photograph her idol, who turns out to be a real jerk. Piper goes out with Leo on their first real date, but they meet Dan and his date there. Leo gets called out and they both leave. The Halliwell's go to see a movie with Phoebe's movie crush in it, Billy, but the demon they thought they'd vanquished earlier and Billy come falling out of the movie. A love connection between Billy and Phoebe immediately arises while they figure out who the demon is, the Demon of Illusion. The demon brings an ax murderer and Bloody Mary out of a movie to try and kill the Halliwell's. They ward them off with the help of Billy who can't die. The girls manage to kill Bloody Mary and the ax murder the same way they were killed in the movie and Piper and Phoebe go into the movie to kill the demon. Prue rewinds the movie in time for Piper and Phoebe to get out.
2.19: Ex Libris
Phoebe's friend from school, Charlene, is killed after she discovers proof that demons exist. Phoebe trys to tell her gently that she's dead, but at first Charlene doesn't believe her. Then, Charlene realizes that she needs help in getting on with her life, and goes to the Halliwell's for help. Prue is given an assignment of photographing the town and in every picture, the same man appears. She finds out that the man is looking for a witness to his daughter's murder. She was killed by a man that everyone is too scared to speak against. Dan tells Piper that Leo's married and she researches it and he was before he died. The girls retrace Charlene's steps the night of her murder and kill the demon. But Charlene doesn't move on and they figure out that she's supposed to do justice for the man's daughter too. So Charlene gets the guy to confess, by freaking him out )he can't see her) and she moves on.
2.20: Astral Monkey
Piper's old doctor inserted some of the sister's blood into monkeys and now they have the sisters' powers. The doctor's sister is dying and needs a kydney, so the doctor inserts himself with the blood too and wrongly uses the powers to get body parts for his patients. However, the powers are slowly driving him crazy. The girls try to get him to give up the powers, but he trys to kill them and ends up dying.
2.21: Apocalypse, Not
The Halliwell's belive that a demon is influencing the people of San Fransisco into acting violently. They do a spell to stop it, but the spell interfere's with the Four Horsemen's duty, which is to destroy the world. The girls and the horsemen get into a fight and one of the guys and Prue get stuck in another demension. They realize that the only way to get Prue and the guy back is to work together. Leo tells the girls that if they save Prue the world will end, but they decide to anyway. When the girls are about to go ahead with their plan, they realize that they can't let evil win, so the demons are killed and Prue comes back because they were willing to let her die to protect the world.
2.22: Be Careful What You Witch For
Some demons send a genie to the Charmed Ones to destroy them. When the girls discover the genie, they don't wish for anything becuase they know that wishes aren't free. But the genie changes appearances to make the girls wish for something. Prue ends up wishing that love would be like it was the first time. Piper wishes that Dan would move on with his life and Phoebe wishes she had a new power. Piper finds out that Dan is moving and that he's rapidly getting older (moving on with his life). Prue is 17 again (the first time) and doesn't have her powers. Phoebe's new power was stolen from a warlock. The warlock comes in wanting his power (flying) and Phoebe flys away with him and drops him somewhere. Piper and Leo tell Dan who they really are. Prue is killed by the warlock after she sneaks out of the house and Leo can't heal her. The genie returns to his bottle and they wish that their wishes were undone. They free the genie and make Dan move on with his life happily with no consequences and Piper and Leo orb off together so that Piper can meet the elders.

The Halliwell's belive that a demon is influencing the people of San Fransisco into acting violently. They do a spell to stop it, but the spell interfere's with the Four Horsemen's duty, which is to destroy the world. The girls and the horsemen get into a fight and one of the guys and Prue get stuck in another demension. They realize that the only way to get Prue and the guy back is to work together. Leo tells the girls that if they save Prue the world will end, but they decide to anyway. When the girls are about to go ahead with their plan, they realize that they can't let evil win, so the demons are killed and Prue comes back because they were willing to let her die to protect the world.
2.22: Be Careful What You Witch For
Some demons send a genie to the Charmed Ones to destroy them. When the girls discover the genie, they don't wish for anything becuase they know that wishes aren't free. But the genie changes appearances to make the girls wish for something. Prue ends up wishing that love would be like it was the first time. Piper wishes that Dan would move on with his life and Phoebe wishes she had a new power. Piper finds out that Dan is moving and that he's rapidly getting older (moving on with his life). Prue is 17 again (the first time) and doesn't have her powers. Phoebe's new power was stolen from a warlock. The warlock comes in wanting his power (flying) and Phoebe flys away with him and drops him somewhere. Piper and Leo tell Dan who they really are. Prue is killed by the warlock after she sneaks out of the house and Leo can't heal her. The genie returns to his bottle and they wish that their wishes were undone. They free the genie and make Dan move on with his life happily with no consequences and Piper and Leo orb off together so that Piper can meet the elders.
