What Happened To The |o Dhd?

I've created a table showing who has which gate and DHD starting from the beginning of the series.
Acsess it here. It took me a really long time to make.
The point that I'm getting to is that I don't have any evidence no tell me the SGC isn't in posession of the |O DHD. So why did they need to beg the russians for their DHD to get Teal'c out in "48 hours"? It's kinda stupid that I went through all that trouble of making the table when I could've just asked my question like I just did.:dead: Oh well. Anyway, can anyone tell me why the SGC didn't just use the DHD they had in posession to free Teal'c? is the |O DHD somewhere else?

(Sorry, haven't checked your table yet, but) I would guess the |O DHD has been in Area 51 pretty much since "Solitudes" which was end of S1. So by S5 they must have figured how to put it back together again!! We do know that they have studied it at length (before "Fifth Race"), but not where the DHD is now...

then why was the SGC so intent on borrowing the russian's DHD in "48 hours" if they had their own?

a) the writer's screwed their continuity
b) a "political" move to get their hands on the other DHD sooner rather than later
c) the |O DHD has gone walkies (perhaps with NID)
d) some other movement of the DHD we don't yet know about

Yeah, those are the conclusions I came up with too. Too bad.. the writers probably just made a mistake.
