Ok so we have all noticed how the writers have been on a killing spree of late... but whose departure has you the most riled up? Senseless waste of life? Extraneously horrific death? Actor gettin too big for their boots :wink2: ???

I am voting for Rothman - I liked him and it was just plain stupid to off a great recurring character. Of course *sniff* I miss marty too, but I am holding out for an evil marty storyline next season. Speaking of Sam's lovers, I am also holding out for a return of Ambassador Joe - he was just superb, and we don't know for sure he's dead.

Lemme know what you think - oh and make sure you yell at me for the people I left out (eg is Narim dead? I guess not too many people will care though, he was a bit of a wimp...)

I am surprised that Kawalski got a fair share of the votes so far. Guess I was not only one to like him. I've said it before and I'll say it again: he was the most passionate about caring for his comrades and was not afraid to yell it out when they were in trouble.

Why did they kill off so many good characters? I liked Rothman and Martouf, too.

I miss Kawalsky. Though the one I miss the most is Makepeace (though I know he wasn't killed off). I hate the way that a character is introduced and then done away with (in one way or another). I suppose that is one problem created when there is such a relatively small cast.

I agree with you on the Kawalsky one - I thought he was fab, and the eps he guests in are always great. Still not sure about Narim though - what is the attraction to that character?

Oh, and Sandman - I love MAKEPEACE - I really wanted to include him in this poll, but then he isn't exactly dead... And I guess they can't really bring him back can they?

I duddo, Narim just grew on me in S5. It also helps that his homeworld is my old university & I saw one of the eps being filmed once & didn't realize it was them (the part when the team is crossing the pond in their nice dressy uniforms). Narim looks better than he did & seems really sweet. Kawalsky I still think thye should find a way where one from an alternate reality can sussessfully come over to ours & stay for good. Hey, Jack needs his best friend again, now that his other floated off in a white glow.

I just watched the Season Five ep with Narim (Between Two Fires I think). Ok, so he isn't that dull, he actually had a bit of emoting to do, and Tollana became a lot more exciting (well, a little bit too exciting for my likes). I was thinking of your post when I was watching the outdoor bits! I live in Vancouver and am continually impressed with the fact that I am surrounded by SG1 locations, but I think seeing it everyday would blow my mind!
