Damn the Winter Games. I'm not getting Absolute Power/The Light next week! How long do these damn things last, anyway (My definition of 'damn things': anything sports-related). I'm sick of having it on for a few weeks, only to have it bumped off when something else comes along.
I know it's probably the same for everyone else, but I just had to rant. Direct angry letters to C7, not me.

My parents know some guy who is competing in the skiing events, (don't know which ones). I don't know him but, though apparently he taught me to say a few naughty phrases when i was really little.

BTW, we had lots and lots of people at our house yesterday and there was a family who have just moved back to Tamworth after a bit of an absence down in Merimbula. The bloke is returning to teach at our school. BUT much to Peter's absolute HORROR, his wife whose name is Deborah (yaaaaayyyy!!!!) is a huge stargate fan. She hasn't come up yet from Merimbula but will be here in two weeks. Her husband saw my stargate vidz and said that Deb would freak. haha, can't wait to show her all the other stuff too. So maybe we'll have another Deborah from Tamworth on ascifi and ausgate.

Hey Cat are you a fan of Country Music? I love it (or some of it) and I was planning on going up this year for the fesival but couldn't go because of work commitments. My friends drove up there for two days and loved it though. Did you go? Or is it kinda of annoying for you guys?

Did anyone see the figure skating the other night, the couple from Canada? They were soo good and then that mishap at the end and the way they laughed at was so completly in the name of good sportsmanship. I thought they were the best and they should have won.

I work with horses on a ranch in sydney, in the country, and we are all country people who drink beer and like country music....(but I don't live their so I can't say I'm authentic...) and usually some of us go Tamworth, but i haven't been yet, so myself and a few of the girls I work with are going next year. We are all cowgirls at heart so we fit in. Plus, we drink beer.

Adam Brand, last years winner of the Golden Guitar has actually done a charity concert at our ranch and so whenever he is doing a concert near us we all go and support him.
