In my mianderings at work, when I should be doing other actual work things, I've come accross many a writers site. So far, here are the best I've found:
www.absolutewrite.com - very good for freelance work, and writing tips in general.
www.writing.com - as above, and has channels for every single area of writing imaginable.
www.mcsweeneys.net - a 'cult' american magazine which has a massive open gate policy about outside contributors for their print verion and their net version. not always sf/f related, but if it's good they take it.
hmm, i'm sure i'd found more then that! well, my good Samaritan work is done!
