do they like that name or something? Wasn't Sam's fiance named Jonas & Jack was called Jona in 'Beneath the Surface'...personally I think it a stupid name. I'd rather have Simon or Tim (some of my least popular names)

Well since the guy's called 'Jonas' then do u think he'll have a thing 4 Sam coz the other 1 did and 1 still does. Oh no wait, of course evry guy on the show has a thing 4 Sam except Hammond and Teal'c, I forgot! Neway, sarcasm aside, the girl is seriously turning into a Mary Sue and it's getting old already. If they're gonna have a cliche then they could at least stick to the original concept of having this 'forbidden love' thing between the two lead characters and then leave it at that. Y does evry male in the galaxy have 2 drool over her?
As Sam once said 'they obviously don't get out much!'
( Although I'll admit that Jack in jealous mode is pretty cute!)

She's the "mary ann" of their Gilligan's Island...and more...

They are attracted to her because:

She's cute, blonde and has a great figure

She's the smartest thing walking

She carries a rifle, is a marksman and finally

because she doesn't "act like she needs any of them"....that non-dependency thing is very attractive...

She's every guy's walking model of the perfect woman...she doesn't complain, get overly emotional and acts like a guy most of the time. She doesn't talk too much and when she does, she has something to say. She shuts up when Jack talks (rank doth have its priveleges)....what's not to like?

Sam's character can be a s*ut. I have made this argument in the past. We all know that she's had instances with other races and people on the show.

I don't understand why the writers have done this. Who am I and what do my opinions mean in the end ~ NOTHING

Don't bother General Hammond. His character is a good guy! If there are characters that require revision, attack Sam Carter's!

I have a question for you -
So u think that it's ok 4 Jack, Daniel and Teal'c 2 sleep with ne random girl (Kynthia, Hathor, Shau'noc etc.) but if Sam shows an interest in a guy then she's immediately a s*ut?!? And I ask, y does that have 2 b sensored????? Sorry 2 go off on the whole girl-power trip but it's a double standard. If a guy does it then it's fine, if a girl does it she's, well, choose your own word to finish off that sentence! It's just not fair but as sum1 once pointed out 2 me - that's the way it is and there's nothing anyone can do 2 change the people's perceptions of it.

I don't think she is any worse than the boys in this respect and at least she hasn't slept with anyone on a I]MISSION[/I] like her CO did!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There, that's my 2 cents worth on the subject!:evil:

She's not a slut! -> as far as I can remember, she's only had guys chasing her, she never actually slept with any of them. The only time she went anywhere near sleeping with a guy was when she jump on Jack :naughty: in "The Brocka Divide".

Even when she met that guy who was from the race who could walk through walls (the Tollen, I think) she kissed him, THAT'S ALL!!!
