Are any of you members British because everyone I seem to meet is from America. I feel left out! :(

Don't feel left out......I am from the UK and there are viewers on the forum from many countries, including Canada, Australia and mainland Europe. It just seems as though it's the American element which dominates, but it's not reality!

Welcome to Ascifi. Travel around the threads and it'll soon become obvious who is from where..... and it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. No matter where we are all from, we have a common interest.....the show itself!

:)

Especially the gate itself ;)

Hello, I'm British too - Yorkshire born and Lincolnshire bred - and I'd like to second what Anni's just said :D

Erm, what was that a thud... ?

Best wishes and welcome,
Hatshepsut

Hi duokilla!
Welcome to Ascifi!

I'm also British. I'm just outside Newcastle up in the cold and windy North East! :rolly2:

British? What ever happened to National Identity? I'm Scottish and proud of it. The only person who appears to believe in their national Identity is marianne. Go Marianne.

Hmmm, that looks suspiciously like Gaelic, which isn't spoken in the region I live in. Gaelic is usually reserved for the Northern part of my country.

Time you learned to speak the Gaelic then... :)

Best wishes,
Hatshepsut, who laments the passing of the old languages, including Kernewek :( (Cornish)

Unfortunatly nobody uses it any more in the region where I live. It's not as common as it once was. Most scots speak the english language, but with their own tough accent and common words.
