Star Trek/Andromeda character similarities

For example:

Dylan and Sisko have a lot in common, as do,
Beka and Major Kira
Tyr and Garak [or Worf with control issues]
Harper and Tom Paris/Riker mix
Trance and Q [or Kes]
 
Interesting character similarities, I see the Dylan/Sisko they really have many things in common specially in the way they command and in the way they try to relate with their crew. Tyr and Worf are similar I think also in their strong characters and their very strong race culture. You really surprise me with Trance/Q, I can see her more like a Kes. Why Q? Do you see it because of Q always having secrets and ulterior motives?

Yeah I can see the similarities there but you dont see any for Rev Bem or Rommie?

At a real stretch I can see

Rev/ Troi or Guinan
Rommie/ Data I guess or even the holodoctor (voy):eek:
 
Rommie and the Doctor do have a lot in common, and I think like the Doctor she has made herself more human than Data.

I think you're right about Rev and Guinan, they have a lot of similarities.
 
I think from a physical standpoint Rommie's like Data. They're both androids or artificial intelligence. But she has the emotional development of the doctor. She's still trying to adapt to new emotions she's learning and relationships she's building which is in some ways like Data and in other ways like the Doctor.

The Commonwealth and the Federation -- goodness, could the parallels be more obvious!:rolleyes: And I love 'em both!
 
I really think too that Rev and Guinan have many similarities, they're like the spiritual guides in both crew. :lol:
