Michael Shanks in Andromeda

I have heard Michael Shanks is a guest star and I bet this has already been discussed but I just wondered if anyone could tell me the exact ep eg Season1 ep4 or whatever he is in.
I've never heard of any of the actors in this show before.
After just seeing the first ep it reminds me very much of Star Trek but I knew it would. Anyways any help much appreciated...
