Archer weak !!!! spoliers enclosed

I have read on other forums that there i a general feeling that Archer is a weak captain.. What do people think..

Captian Archer showed strength and great reserve when he confronted Tolaris in his ready room. So what if he was thrown against the wall? Archer stood up to a foe with superior strength and with known anger issues to protect one of his crew members.
Give me a break folks. Anyone who can face conflict and not react to the aggression of the person they face is a very STRONG person
 
I don't know if he is weak or not, but I have some observations from 'Fortunate Son'.

He doesn't read Starfleet intelligence, Mayweather has to fill him in on the Nausicaans. This does not inspire confidence in your Captain.

He is able to allow Mayweather to question one of his commands. After explaining his decision, Mayweather agrees with him. You are much more likely to have you subordinates follow your leadership if you can do this, but you need confidence in your own leadership, which he obviously must have.

His crew do respect him. He leads by example. He treats each one in the way they will best respond -- look at the way he helps Hoshi overcome her fears, but knocks down Trip when he gets too cock-sure.

I agree, I've liked Archer since the first episode. He leads by example, and he knows how to treat the members of his crew. Sure he's no Sisko, [yet anyway] but he's not dull either. He's not afraid to go on away missions, and he knows how to get the job done right.
 
Do u think Archer needs a women ?? i mean to form a regular relatinship.. not just one off kisses
