Cut outs

On Fox Kids, I've noticed they've cut a lot out. I have all the original episodes on disc and they are in Cantonese! I've noticed that Fox Kids have cut out some parts or change the story line a bit. Have you guys noticed this?

yeah.... one of the biggest cut outs was the whole hamara and michelle "relationship" in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th season I forget... I dont recall what it was they cut out, but there were a lot of little scenes they cut out due to censorship... another which im surprise they didnt cut out was the ep when the girls figured out hamara was a girl and not a guy...... anybody else know of cutouts?

all I know is that they censored it so like 5-10 year olds can watch it when it was created in japan to target older teenage girls...i know for a fact there was a lesbian storyline between amara (haruka) and michelle (michiru)...this is the reason why it took so many years to release the sailor moon S series in America....they took out that storyline and cut tons of parts of eps and made them cousins cause americans have serious homophobia issues..as far as i know that is the only major part of the storyline that they cut out but i'll look into it for ya.

ycant americans just leave things as they are? i mean if it was a hit how it was can they expect it to be as good with half of it missing????

Its basically like their bad dubbing, like in HK movies they portray the Chinese in a bad way making it seems like all chinese sound like one of bruce lees films. I am chinese and one of the best in my class at english. Get the british to do dubbing the americans cant do it!
