bit more meat on the bone|:

The episode will bring the Enterprise to the planet Risa, first introduced in TNG's "Captain's Holiday." In the episode, "Two Days and Two Nights," Captain Archer uses some of the Enterprise' dilithium reserves to buy the crew some vacation time on the planet.

Captain Archer decides to spend his holiday relaxing with Porthos in a luxurious villa. Shortly after arriving, he encounters an alien woman called Keyla when he finds her lost pet, Tibbis. When she comes to thank him, he invites her to join him on the deck, and soon they are engaged in conversation. Archer points out in the sky where Earth is, but when he asks her where her own planet is, she says it's not very interesting and quickly kisses him goodnight.

Archer and Keyla spend the next day with each other, snuggled up close together on a lounge chair. They kiss, talk about Archer's current reading ('The Teachings of Surok'), kiss again, and find delight in the fact humans are still very much controlled by their emotions. Archer says he wishes he had more than two days on Risa, but he'll soon have to go out and explore space again. Keyla now also points at the sky, and indicates one direction in which he shouldn't go - it's the place she came from, and the place she spent the last two years getting away from...

When the crew takes shore leave on the famous pleasure planet of Risa, Archer has a mysterious encounter with an alien woman; Hoshi has a surprising romantic rendezvous; Mayweather has a rock-climbing accident; and Trip and Reed go clubbing only to end the evening as unwitting victims of robbery.

Michael Dorn: "It's a pleasure-planet episode, and that's all I'm going to tell you." (March 20, 2002 - TrekToday)

Dominic Keating: "Connor [Trinneer] and I get into some fun... or trouble. And, all is not as it seems." (April 07, 2002 - TrekToday)

Latia was played by Steve Wozniak. When I saw the name in the credits I thought it was "Woz", you know, the bloke who invented Apple with Steve Jobs - I took a great big double take, but apparently this Woxniak is a differrent person.

Is it just me or is this series a lot more about sex than any previous ST offering? Malcolm and Trip were salivating like teenagers, and Hoshi didn't waste much time either....

eh - maybe a little -

but that bit listed about about Archer snuggling and kissing - that doesn't happen - Archer didn't kiss anyone - and he didn't snuggle either -

It was a bit ironic that Trip and Reed went to Risa for a sexual experience, and Hoshi is the one who had one - she had said she was going to learn more languages - seems her technique worked better than Trip and Reed.

Anyone else kinda get a weird "Night at the Roxbury" vibe when Trip and Reed walked into that club? <shudder>

Phlox was kinda funny too ---

I haven't seen this yet, but I've noticed more than once that the pre-episode advertising for 'Enterprise' often bears no resemblence to the actual episode story. And they usually try to play up the sexual side, even when there is none.

i.e. Archer kissing the Suliban women in 'Broken Bow' -- the actual sequence probably lasted 5 seconds, but was in every advert!

The T'Pol - Reed kiss in 'Shuttlepod One' -- it wasn't even real, it was a dream!

I thought this was a very good episode. Lots going on.
Trip and Malcolm need new tailors, those suit were just terrible :D
The part with Phlox was so funny. He called every one Captain and fumbled with all his instruments but still managed to treat Travis and then promptly fell asleep on one of the beds in sick bay.
The part with Archer was interesting. When I first saw Keyla I thought she was Trill(from her markings) But we find out that she isn't. Will the Tamarins(Grat's people from "Detained") play a bigger part in this series?
:blpaw:

This was one of those classic Trek things... funny but boring..

I just thougth ' ow here we go again another Risa storyline'..

Trip definately needs a new tailor....

Yeah, funny but a bit boring.

Hoshi did the snuggling and kissing, not Archer, not even Trip and Reed -- which was funny.

Lots of little bits of info -- Dr Phlox's hibernation.

Return of Cadet Cutler.

The alien dog really annoyed me. I've posted this in 'Dogs in Space' already, but how can a species of Earth animal get to a planet 80 Light Years away, that man has never been to? (I think they got to the Delta Quadrant too, but that might not have been a dog, this WAS a real dog.)

We will meet Keyla again, no doubt.

They certainly seem to want to bring some kind of sexuality into a lot of the eps - have you noticed how often we get crew members in their larey blue undies - this ep is a prime example - lots of shots of the boys in their tight blue knix - in all honesty probably more than was required for the storyline don't ya think?. I like to see a bit of hunky flesh as much as the next girlie(tho Malcolm and Trip are not overly hunky !!!) but it seems that Enterprise likes the crew to get their kit off as often as possible !!!

I always wanted an episode where people just got on with things and this appears to be the Enterprise shot at it, with lots of little non-events.

Archer in his holiday villa had me dreading another "Captain's Holiday", fortunately it didn't end up that way. Even if the time hopping concept was mentioned with the Suliban appearing.

The outcome with Reed and Trip's plans was written in 7' flashing letters. Doesn't Star Fleet issue the Standard Liberty Guide for shore leave?

That only left Hoshi to actually have a good time.

Waking Phlox was hilarious.

Final neat scene was the discussing of what a good time everybody had on the shuttle back.
