This is true ???? I hope not. Here in Brazil we say: Não se mexe em time que está ganhando.

Translating: If the thing works, don't change it !

Well the thing already got changed but I really think that Daniel's exit will not make a great difference ( although they should'nt kill him !) Did they really kill him ? (I hate don't have S5 !).

Well if he leaves...What happened to this people? Well at least he is a (little more) best actor than DD. Maybe, he could choose a good film to do either ...

No, Daniel does not really die, he 'ascends' to a greater plane of existence so there will always be a door open for him to come back!
Which is what already happened. Michael Shanks agreed playing Daniel in the third season six episode 'Abyss'.
About Richard: For all we know season six is gonna be the last season of the show. At the moment Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper are writing the script for the Stargate SG-1 feature film, hoping Michael will be part of it. They said Daniel will play a pivotal role in the feature currently being scripted but it depends on Michael's other commitments.
All we know is that Richard won't appear in all season six episodes because he needs more time off with his little daughter. :D :D

what she said :)

RDA has no problem coming back for the movie if it happens but he has gone on record for over a year that if there was a season 6 (which there is) it will be his last.

MS has been open to the idea of doing the movie

i can't recall any comments by DSD, AT , TR or CJ
however AT has said that if there is a guest spot in the alledged spin off (i'll believe it when i'm sitting in front of the tv watching it) that she won't mind guesting but wasn't too crazy about actually being in it 'it's thier show' or something like that.

It just seems to me that for all the feelings of "it's great filming in Vancouver" that shows start off with, the actors from California seem to implode at or around year number six from all the time spent on commuter jets between Malibu and Vancouver... I guess more power to them for knowing what they want and not settling for anything less. And, as painful as that last ep would be, I'd rather wave bye-bye to Jack O'Neill than to see the production move to LA and suffer the stylistic changes the X-Files did. That's my 2 cents.

Yeah, they'd never be able to film Stargate here because there's not enough (or any) undeveloped land. No more visits to alien planets, no more trees, everything would have to be on a sound stage or highly developed planets like Tollana. Just not as interesting.

All in all, though, I'd rather the show end when they want it too, rather than keep going with either unhappy actors or different characters and have to watch it implode. All good things come to an end eventually.
