To Holodeck or Not , that is the question ???

Obviously starfleet ships don't have them, but other races do. Do you think Enterprise will run its course with the writers resisting the temptation do a holodeck episode? I think they''l run out of ideas and do it in a later season, but hope not.

What u think ??

Enterprise had an episode in which it introduced 'holodeck' as such.. but we have not yet seen any other revival of the hoodeck... My question was do u think they will bring it back in as time goes on as a way of realing out episodes ???

I just think that the alien holodeck in that episode was totally unecessary. It wasn't required for the plot.

Trip could have intimate contact with the alien without climbing into a boat with her. The Klingons would really have been far more interested in the weapons technology than the holodeck technology.

IMHO it WAS simply, as you say, a way of "reeling out episodes"!

The Klingons took the Holodeck technology away with them in that episode. I read somewhere, someone said. . . wouldn't it be interesting if the Klingons develop it, then the Federation steals or buys it from them. That would then explain why it never works!!!

Its all that Klingon Wiring... Poor Obrien never got anything to stay workingon DS9..

Thats why Quark had the Holodecks... Anyhow dont think there is much room for a holodeck on the NX01.. They should concentrate on the Tractor beam if u ask me

Well, they need to find an alternative to the 'wire' they used to pull up the shuttle in 'Breaking the Ice'. That was definitely 'low tech'!
