As they struggle with the effects, Commodore Stocker takes over command, and takes the Enterprise into the Romulan neutral zone. Just in time McCoy gets the antidote -- andrenaline -- and Kirk bluffs his way out of the situation.

Apart from the dodgy science, it's another good episode, the acting is superb.
