I just got lots of money and I decided to go to Kukunor (the only shop selling anime in this stupid country) to buy some good anime.Well it's not the prob,it's that there's so MUCH I don't know what to get!So please tell me some good anime/manga-albums...thank you!(I'm asking cause Kukunor is in Helsinki and I'll be going there about twice a year so this Kukunor visit might be my only one this year )^.^

There's no point in just rattling off good series; it really depends on what you like. It also depends on what you're willing to spend.
Having said that...
If you stocking up for a marathon session, I'd suggest any of the following.
Cowboy Bebop. It's available individually or in a six-disc set (no idea about video), with a free audio cd. It's a detective series set in the future, where mankind has colonised most of the solar system. Great characters, great story, excellent soundtrack.

Urusei Yatsura - Rather silly; but my favourite series. Lum is an alien who challenges a random earthling to a game of tag to decide the fate of the Earth; she then falls in love with him. Wackiness ensues. Millions of episodes, a lot of them available on DVD/video.

Tenchi Muyo - You should've heard of this. You should've seen it. It's great.

Gunbusters - Available on three tapes/one disk; it's a truly excellent space opera. It's from Gainax, so you know it's good.

Films; too many to count, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Patlabor 1&2, Wings of Honneamise, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro... the list goes ever on.

SailorMoon if you like it, Neon Genesis (GAINAX too) probably the movie and all the other movies like Ghost In The Shell.

I suggest
Arc The Lad
Sorcerrer on The Rocks
Trigun(its outta print but sometimes you can find copies)
Sorcerrer Stabber Orphen

haha they're great!!!!!!!!!Especially trigun!Everybody I know no matter what their Anime tastes they LOVE trigun.

oh it is!!!!!its funny, fulfills your scifi wants, carries a good story, good length for what it is,and comes to a good clean end with barely any things left unanswered

oh it is.ever hear of Anime acadamy???They grade animes.trigun is one of the only animes to get over a 95%.
