What's you're favourite Star Trek?

Ok I don't think we've had this yet (please forgive me if we have) but whats your favourite star trek show?

My favourite is Voyager, though DS9 was pretty close. Voyager's characters appealed to me more, I liked the storyline and it was the show that got me into Star Trek.

TOS got me into Trek, but Voyager kept me in. Enterprise is slipping me away though...

Hard to compare TOS with the others. I liked DS9 because it was so different, and I just had to watch the next week during the Dominion Arc stories. The only series that I think should have gone on longer was TNG. I'm in a minority, but I was disappointed with VOY, and I'm really liking ENT, even though I thought that I wouldn't.

But to make a choice, that is too hard!

A tie between TNG and ENT. The first series I really started watching was TNG, and ENT is beginning to get really good.

I didn't put a 'can't decide' choice because I thought it would end up winning by a huge margin. I wanted to make people choose.

I liked TOS when it started. It was fresh, new and I was a lot younger. I could forgive the corny plots, cardboard sets and wooden actors.

In comparison TNG tended to be just wooden.

DS9 became very good when it gained a storyline to sustain it.

Voyager started with some of the freshness that was lost in TNG and DS9, but lost any semblence of coherent theme.

I think ultimately I would have to go for TOS. It was right for the time it was made. TV SciFi in the Sixties was Star Trek! At least when Doctor Who was not on.

for me - i really liked TOS when i first started watching Trek, and was kinda turned off by the new series - TNG - but i got into that too - the DS9 was on, and i liked that, but i just could never get into VOY - i saw the 2 hour premiere and 2 or 3 other eps, but just couldn't get into it. ENT is pulling me in tho - it's got some good stories going.

But which is my fave? i haven't the 1st clue -- it's kinda hard to decide - comparisons of the shows, tho they're the same genre, are still kind of lop-sided ---

Voted for TNG...when I was young I was a big fan of TOS and when TNG came out I couldn't stand it...but of course watched it. And after a little while it grew on me and now I love TNG. I also like Voyager, but TNG is classic!

I voted Voyager, because as Shaun and Maria have mentioned above, it was the show that got me back into trek.

DS9 was great once it got going (and Sisko got a beard - coincidence, I think not!), although I would choose B5 over it any day.

I don't know why exactly I liked Voyager so much, I had the impression that everybody else hated it, but if this poll is anything to go by then maybe I was wrong. I think one of my main problems with Voyager was that it never quite went for the big finishes - relied too often on tried and true (and sometimes boring) formulae.

And I liked Janeway!

I voted for TNG, but Voyager comes a close second.

Didn't much like DS9, and I'm having a hard time getting interested in Enterprise.

TOS still has a special place, as it was the first and I still enjoy watching it even now.

DS9 is my favourite, although TNG is nearly tied with it, and TOS is next.

I've only seen a few episodes of Enterprise (hasn't caught my attention enough yet), so don't have much of an opinion about it. Voyager is at the bottom...I was just never able to get into that one.

I really like Enterprise. But I've never really watched any of the other series (except Star Trek TOS when I was a kid - I watched re-runs at night).

Still 'The next Generation' for me as 'Enterprise' has become not at all interesting
