Has anyone been to Sphinx site lately. There's news about an upcoming seasons 6 episode.

MS is making a guest appearance in an episode called 'Oh Brother' as his own twin brother 'Michael'

April Fool's joke or a bit of barrel scraping? Any observations?

I came across a very similar story at another site. According to that one, Shanks is allegedly playing his evil twin brother called Michael who also has Tourrette's Syndrome...

Which kind of indicated that it was a bit of a spoof

Sure it would be funny, but I can't think of a plausable plot that wouldn't "wreck my belief's suspension." The whole twin thing is corny. Then again, I've been watching Buckaroo Banzai this weekend and there's the lovely-and-pure Peggy Pretty and her down-and-out twin Penny Pretty in there. But that movie is camp. I don't want any more blatant camp in my Stargate than just occurs naturally. :dead:

Have they leaked any April Fools stuff in the past years? What were they?

I think many episode plots are just stupid, especially in season six ....

I don't think they have the budget to hire Michael Jackson, so I'm writing the whole thing off as one scary plot.

However, there's a 'spoof list' on SaveDanielJackson especially for folks to extend their brain power and 'write' spoilers for episodes they'd like to see ........... or not. There's some pretty scary/funny stuff there.

Thanks for picking up the story Marianne and crediting the source. If you guys actually check out the story on my site you'll find it's originally in the April TV Zone magazine - I think I was the first to announce it as a possible hoax online but I'm sure everyone who read the article would have been slightly suspicious.

All that remains unanswered now is ; did TV Zone know it was a hoax or is their "reliable source" getting the last laugh.

I didn't know about the Micheal Jackson thing but it made me laugh! I've seen another rumour that Shanks might come back to the next movie if there is gonna be one. It depends how the writers put him in.
