a 2CD set, with gome good extra features by the look of it... gotta be better than the bog-standard DVD with lousy picture quality of the original release...

what exactly is this? the description isn't very forthcoming w/ details ---

eh - could be worth a look - once there's more info ---- but, yeah - looks like there could be some potential there!

considering there was never an actual soundtrack released for the 1st movie

I can't find where I origianlly found out about it now... I believe that it contains only hte "highlander" tracks from "A Kind of Magic" which is more or less the soundtrack anyway...

From what I recall they're focusing quite a bit on Queen, which is a good thing in my book, with the music videos to the hit songs, as well as the music CD.

I assume the "directors cut" is just the version that came out over here anyway, but a commentary is a good addition, although it should have been done for the original release

I'm assuming hte sound and picture quality will be upto scratch this time as well

Perhaps they've been listening and decided to bring out a quality version of this DVD to make up for the naff original version...

ANyway I'll let you know in a couple of weeks, as I'm ordering it
