I have set up a petition to get the Producers of Stargate to move the production from Canada to Southern California. This is so that RDA would then be closer to his family and may consider doing another Season of Stargate. Please sign the petition by clicking below:

I think it's landed everywhere. I'm sure Andrew means well, but I can honestly see no way this would every happen. Just the relocation cost alone would be frightening.

it is a nice thought but just think...tollana, o'malley's, the nox world, the old bailiff, washington, d.c., the terminal from 2010, the gamekeeper's planet, jack's cabin, sam's house, janet's house, hammy's house, danny's apt, plus tons of other 'planets' already exist solely in vancouver.

and if they moved jack would have to complan about the galaxy being full of palm trees instead of fir trees

Not another petition ....

They started off Ok with the "Save Stargate" campaign but I'm getting a little fed up with the constant stream of online petitions.

Not an attack on you Hatshepsut - I'm sure you posted it for the right reasons - Just my personal opinion on the ongoing trend these petitions seem to be heading.

It never hurts to post out a piece of info. That's the only way some folks will hear about things. It's then on their own to figure it out.

Hmm .. I think you missed my point - I wasn't saying you shouldn't have posted it - I was pointing out that there seems to be too many at the moment

exactly. it never hurts to pass info on. There are a lot of people out there that aren't on as many lists as some.
quite often i see someone posting a 'new' spoiler that made it's way around lists and forums weeks ago.

I'm so so confused - I never said I didn't want to help. I wish now I hadn't said anything if it was going to spark this much comment.

I don't ever mind what people post . I accept that it's great to have every piece of information accessible in one place - namely here. I accept that some poeple might be interesting in adding support to whatever poll / petition is doing the rounds.

I never once said I didn't .. "Too many petitions" was my gripe and not "Don't post petitions".

I agree with Rowan - please close this thread down tptb.

Spynix, I never said this was a bad idea. As a matter of fact, there's been a fair amount of support for posting things like this. I only mentioned closing the thread as it looks like we've gotten the milage out of the discussion and me might want to go on to other things.

You *did* help. You provided a bit of information that some folks might not have seen. You did nothing wrong. And if it sparked discussion, that's all well and good also. Opinions were aired and ideas traded. Nothing bad hapened.

Please, if you run across snippets of information like the petetion in the future, please feel free thare them here. They will always be one or two people who have already seen it, but there will be a larger number of folks who haven't.
