A friend of mine recently saw Blade Runner, one of my most favorite movies. He mentioned that he was certain that there was a scene in Bladerunner where Deckard is sitting at a sushi bar counter having a conversation with the cook, then the sushi bar pulls away from the counter to reveal that Deckard is in fact sitting in his own apartment and the sushi bar was hovering outside his window.
The sushi bar slowly glides away as the cook says godbye to Deckard, and we see the cityscape outside.
I have the DVD with the Director's Cut version and watched the film, however, this scene was not in the movie.
Years ago I've seen the original version with Harrison Ford doing the narration. I'm thinking that that scene was in the original release, but I don't remember the details.
Is anybody else familiar with this scene?
If so, could it have been in the original version?
