I don't understand how the gate "knows" if all travellers had passed through or if there are remaining travellers...
Sometimes the wormhole is very long, particularly when people have to flee from an hazardous planet ;
or sometime shorter, when only one person pass the gate, the wormhole shutdown just after the travel...
I can understand that with the computer of the SGC, which can deactivate the gate at any time, but I don't understand how it can works with a DHD.
So, the gate is intelligent???
somebody can find a "realist" answer to this?...
