It's a strange thing about Hiyao Miyazaki; he makes films for toddlers that anyone can watch. Don't know how he does it.
Anyway, Kiki's Delivery Service is about a witch who, when she's thirteen, has to leave home and find her own way in the world. Her main talent is riding brooms, so she starts a delivery service.
It's a lot like Totoro, in that there's no point in explaining the plot. You've just got to see the animation, the characters... everything about this film is great.
Do yourselves a favour. Buy the DVD. Then buy My Neighbour Totoro. And Porco Rosso. In fact, buy anything by Miyazaki.
