would you rather live in star trek or wars universe? and why ??

Trek!

Mainly because it seems a lot safer than the Star Wars universe - provided that is, you are not Bajoran or live in the Borg-infested Delta quadrant (or have ever made the acquaintance of Janeway!), or the Gamma quadrant come to think of it - the Dominion weren't very nice were they?

Earth seems a pretty pleasant place in ST, although not too sure about the fashions!

It depends on the Era!

I agree that Earth in Star Trek does always seem pleasant. Then there is Risa and some other fairly good holiday destinations, but equally a few wars zones too.

The Star Wars universe seems fairly nice before Episode I. Only later does the evil Empire take hold and destroy whole planets for not towing the line.

In episode one there seems to be too much slavery and hardship for my liking..

I would rather live in Trek, because the technology from Wars is powered by imagination, with no real explanation as to how it works!

Don't think much explanation needs to be made with Star Wars. We have most of the technology, and it all works.

But the Trek Universe looks much easier to live in.

I go with Star Wars. Trek's society too rigid with too many laws. In Wars you have space.

Trek. At least that universe makes some sense.
