Most Saddening Death

I'd have to say Jadzia, only because she was a main character and such a great one at that.

For me the most saddening death on DS9 was that of the elderly Jake Sisko in the visitor. He had planned his death for a long time and sacrificed himself to save his father.

Oh I agree Shaun it was such a teary episode for me so well done and planned to rip at the emotions..very well done.

I was very disappointed in the way they handled Jazia's death it just seemed way to quick ....:(

Isn't that how death really is, pointless, shocking and a waste.

I think in reality, they still thought Terry might stay, so they didn't have time to write a slow debilitating disease for her.

But, I would much rather a character is written out that way, that the Stargate/ Daniel Jackson way.

I liked the fact that it was sudden - even though i was expecting it, i couldn't quite believe it - it felt almost real. But i think that the mourning period for her should have been longer, and more emotional (rather than Worf, O'Brien and Whisky)

Maybe that was to do with Ezri Dax still being there, carrying the memories. Worf tried not to admit it, her personality was different, but it was still Dax. Sisko dealt with it much better, because he had gone through it already.
