Faith was supposed to join the cast of Angel..what happened?

I thought that Faith was supposed to move to Angel after season 4 of Buffy when she left...I even have a promo trailer for Angel with her in it...does anyone know what happened? Cause she would have made a great addition to the Angel cast..finally helping people..

Yeah I would have liked to see Faith in Angel but I have not heard anything...

I didn't know that. But if it was supposed to happen, a likely explanation for it is that Eliza Dushku's movie career has really taken off, check her entry at www.imdb.com - she has really capitalised on her appearances in Buffy.

I don't know about the rest of you but I think it would be intresting to see them together....

I'm an Angel fan and abit of a shipper, however, I wouldn't want to see Faith and Angel together (unless they were both bad). Wanted to see Angel and Cordy together though .

I'm a big Angel fan too...I dunno if I could see him and Faith together, but who knows what kind of personality the reformed Faith may have....she may be perfect for him...but unfortunately we will probably never get to know..

it would have been good to have her in Angel, but it could have been a bit too Buffy-esque having a slayer in the group....Joss wants Angel to be more unique than that.. But that said its a shame she couldn't do one or two more guest spots. I guess ANgels forgotten the way to her prison by now

I'd like to see Faith in Angel again, give me even more of an incentive to watch the show then .

Seriously though Joss would have to do something radically different with her or as Markpud points out, the show could become to much like Buffy.
