How many seasons do you think Angel will last?

I have posted something similar to this on the Buffy forums, but I was wondering the same thing about Angel.

From what I can tell from people's posts here, we all seem to be enjoying Angel a lot more than Buffy at the moment. Although bear in mind that Season three Buffy was pretty much the peak of the series (IMO), how much longer do you think Angel will last? Do you think it would keep going strong if Buffy got cancelled? I personally am not sure, I need to think about it a bit more, but I would be interested to know your opinions.

I think that Angel has a few more seasons left in him yet....
I also think it would be ok if Buffy went off and Angel didn't as they are now two shows on their own and not linked so much anymore!
Well I hope he will carry on after Buffy has finished!

Yea I agree I think the show is popular enough to stick it out another couple of seasons at least

i think Angel could keep going if BTVS stopped -- Angel isn't dependent on Buffy for it's success

Angel can hold its own -

so - i think it could go on for 6 seasons of its own - maybe more -
just depends on what else Joss Whedon has in store for us, i guess

I think I agree, I just hope that you are right. I would love Angel to go on for many more seasons, especially now that my other fave show, SG1 is coming to an end with season six.

yea I totally agree Highlander...Angel doesn't need Buffy to be successful..although Buffy is a great show don't get me wrong, but Angel and Buffy have grown apart so I think Angel can survive a few more seasons after buffy ends.

I don't know how long Angel will last (usually money or politics will determine that). But I know I will only want it to continue if they keep making the great show that it is with interesting stories and characters.
