Which character is most likely to be injured during an Away Team assignment?

'Injured' can mean anything you want: From Harry Kim's close encounters with alien females, through the loss of vital organs, right up to the death of a Character.

I went for Neelix:

Firstly, he eats all that junk food, he is annoying to strangers, he upsets the Kazon, and he's not afraid of Klingon females; but most of all, he had his lungs stolen by the Vidiians, and then he actually died and was brought back to life at one point.

He is a man living on the edge!

I voted for the Doctor - I don't think I can remember a time when he left the ship and returned without something disastrous happening to him.

Ok, so he doesn't exactly get injured, but you know what I mean, right?

It was me that voted for Harry Kim, was going to post a reply last night but forgot.
Harry is the equivalent of the TOS read shirts, he's been killed and not revived (duplicate), infected by nanoprobes and Species 8472 and god help him if he falls in love.

I voted for B'elanna though you all have good points about Neelix and Harry. IT just seemed like B'elanna was always getting beaten up or injured in nearly every episode for awhile there. If she went on an away mission she was sure to come back injured, usually beaten.

I don't think Janeway has been the most injured but she's the one who bounces back from her injuries as if they didn't exist. I always found that really annoying and totally unrealistic.

Doc: Captain Janeway you must let me reattach your severed arm!

Janeway: Haven't got time doctor, I've got to get down to the photon torpedos and get radiation poisoning while programming the targetting! Just put a bandage on it!


Does anyone know a way to find out who really has been injured the most? It seems to me it's B'elanna but it would be interesting to find out who it really is.
