what's with those cast pics? They can't get all four of them in a room together and take more than one?! The wallpaper with the four of them looks amaturish. No offence, but it's not what I'd want surfing to the official site.

Like Han Solo said, "I've got a bad feeling about this." Whole move to SciFi thing is scary.

And yeah, the site is pretty but they have to drop the noisy USPS Flash add. It drove me nuts!

Yes, I totally agree. Inserting different pictures of them from nearly 3 years ago looks really dodgy.

The new press shots are okay. Is it just me or does Jonaes look angry or pissed of in EVERY photo. For cying out loud, smile man.

Glad I'm not the only one seeing how strange that wallpaper is. I'd toot my own horn saying that my walpapers ROCK. But I'm just pleasing myself.

Don't know why they can't have CN smile. I think they're trying to set the character up as very straight. Atonning for his evil deeds and tagging along trying to fit in. They got to provide the clueless, alien character as contrast for the established human characters, or something. With Teal'c, CJ started out in that role, but the writers couldn't keep him there forever. He's got a strong fan following now and his character has been adapting to the Tau'ri cultures for more than five years. RDA's the accepted funny man on the show, after all. Can't have too many funny people. <eg>

As I recall from CN's Smallville appearance he was dull, still, quietly evil, and near-normal dude as he tortured Lex. I'm suspecting this is just the way CN plays characters. He's trying to be understated. Back when the X-files started fans said Ducovny never smiled, either. We'd have to see a lot more of his character before we'd know exactly how it's going to be played. Three or four eps just isn't enough.

The pictures of AT are horrible. Whoever took those photos should be shot. They added 10 years to her appearance. And I agree, putting a three year old pic in there isn't cool, especially when I've always hated that one too.

Understated

I agree that "Mulder' was fairly quiet at first, but he's much easier on the eyes.

I'm sorry, but unless CN really shines in the acting department, so far he's doing nothing for me.

I don't hate Sams appearance that much, but I odn't like Jonas in that pic at all. Sam seems to be kinda going for a different look (bot sure what) but Teal'c and Jack just look normal.

Well the pictures don't really do much for me. But on the other hand at least SCI-Fi did a decent job of putting up a good site. Although as I read through it, all the info isn't 100% accurate.

I think I watch too much stargate.

A good number of AT's promo shots I see on the web never look like her to me. Not sure what it is or what they lose being squeezed into web format files.

Maybe they're trying to make her look a certain way? Like, not promote her as beaufitiful model type woman? (Not sure why they woudl want to though.)

I recall AT saying somewhere in a chat the producers resist making her look bad because she's the female lead. So she's never as dirt smudged or windblown as you'd expect. And in traditional film making that practice has been the rule. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the guys get way more cuts to the face than AT. She's taken over more by alien things and made unconcious. (This kind of thing bothered me to such a point I really whump a female fan fic character I created.)

As for pictures, I'm suspecting that the compression into web formats just flattens some of her subtle features. But I'm still struck how I keep thinking it's a woman other than AT when I'm pondering those photos.
