What is this object and what is its role ?

Isn't that the vo'cume?

The device that projects a large image, like a 3D image of Apophis (As seen in Rules of Engagement)?

Surely you mean exclusive to Showtime's site, but used (hopefully with permission) by Sphinx!
 
hmmm I'm not sure but considering the background of dirt it may be a picture from "Dead Man's Switch, one of those thingies that fire at any lifeform they detect within range.
 
I'm pretty certain it's he Vo'cume (Which Shazstar if you remember was also placed on the dirt) and yes, jusdging by the fact that it says SHOWTIME on the pic i'd say it was exsclusive and copyright to showtime, NOT sphynx, even if sphynx is using it.

Yep, I've been mistaken. Hard the wright words everytime as I'm French. I meant that I found it at Sphinx's. :D

Shazstar, Dead's Man Switch is the Episode with the bounty hunter I think.

This device was shown in Rules of Engagement (s3).
 
Did you find out the episode from watching the episode or just seeing the item on a site. If it was from watching, they refer to it's name a few times. At least we managed to figure out what it was in the end <g>

I saw it at Sphinx's (yes, again).
Well, sorry for the annoyance.
I've made some researches and surprisly found a bunch of sites with tech pages which had infos about the vo'cume.

Anyway, with all the information given on these sites, be sure that now, the only thing I'll ask is something that has not been covered nor debunked yet.

Btw, Shazstar, here's the autogun device you were talking about.

It seems to be called a Tacluchnatagamuntoron (must be a joke, what an wafull name), shortened to Tac.

I only recently watched Deadman's switch, but I haven't seen "rules of Engagement, its one of the few episodes I have missed. I am still waiting for dvd release on that one. Thanks!
